What is in your homemade body butters? 
Our body butters have base ingredients of shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. We also add additional butters, carrier oils, essential oils, and fragrance oils. Our body butters are smooth and extremely moisturizing.
What is a salve? 
A salve is an ointment used to soothe or heal an area of the body that is excessively dry, irritated, burned, or wounded. Our salves are made with herbal infused olive oil. We infuse olive oil with skin healing and aromatherapy herbs for 6 weeks. This allows the healing property of the herbs to infuse into the oil.

How do I care for my body butters and salves?
Please keep body butters and salves in a cool and dry place. Do not keep in direct sun light, this may cause melting of the product. If this happens, remove the product from direct sunlight and it will resolidify. The texture may change, however the product’s natural moisturizing ingredients have remained the same and will still work wonders on your skin.

What is in your homemade soap? 
Our homemade soaps have base ingredients of coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, and castor oil. We also add additional butters, carrier oils, clays, essential oils, fragrance oils, and natural colorants. These ingredients are great components that make a luxurious moisturizing and cleansing soap.

Why is your soap made with lye?
Homemade soaps cannot be made without lye. Lye, also known as sodium hydroxide, is the chemical that induces saponification with fats and oils to create the lathering and cleansing properties of soap. The end product of soap does not contain sodium hydroxide.

Do you test on animals?
We do not test our products on animals. However, we do test our products on eager family members and friends.

Do you use any animal products in your products?
Most of our products are vegetarian. We do use beeswax. 

What products can I use if I have sensitive skin?
All of our products are great for sensitive skin. Our products are gentle and moisturizing. They do not contain chemicals found in some store brought skin care products, which can cause dry skin after use. We recommend starting with our ‘Nude’ line of products. They have the same properties of our other products without the additional colorant, essential oil, or fragrance oil. Our Nude line is made with natural butters such as cocoa butter and shea butter and will have a mild natural scent.
What is the difference between essential oil and fragrance oil?
Essential oils are naturally occurring, highly concentrated substances extracted from plants. They have multiple healing properties and are also used for aromatherapy. Fragrance oils are manufactured scents. Fragrance oils allow us to use a variety of scents that cannot be made from an essential oil. If you are looking for an all natural product, please select our products containing only essential oils or try our Nude line of products.
What products can I use if I am allergic to fragrance?
You can use our products containing essential oils or try our Nude line of products, which does not contain essential or fragrance oil.
Do your ‘Mommy and Baby’ line products contain essential oil or fragrance oil?
No, due to sensitivity of expecting mothers and newborn babies we do not add essential oil or fragrance oil to our ‘Mommy and Baby’ products. These products do contain mild natural scent from the natural ingredients used.
I have eczema / dry skin. What products are best to use?
Our products are moisturizing and work great on dry or eczematous skin. Body butter can be used all over the body (hence the name) and our salves are intended for more focal problem areas (such as the hands, feet, ready dry patches).
How do I take care of my soaps?
For longer lasting soaps, let your soap dry out between use. Keep soap on a soap dish that allows air to circulate around the bar. Do not keep soap in an area where it will be continuously exposed to water.
How long do your products last?
Our produces do not contain any artificial preservatives. So the shelf life will be shorter. We recommend using our products within 6 months. Keep products in a cool and dry place, away from bright sunlight. Soaps can be stored for a year in a dry cool place until ready to be used.
What is the "white powder" on top of some of your bars?
That is called soda ash. It is a harmless substance that forms during the curing process in soap making. It has no effect on the product and rinses off during first use of soap.
Can I order by email?
Yes! Please email us at orders@naturespuree.com. This is also the best way to order in bulk, place special orders, and make guest favor orders.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes! We accept all major credit cards - Visa, Master Card, American Express, JCB, and Discover.
Do I need to create an account to buy from your store?
You do not need an account for purchases but there are benefits to creating an account such as: First to know about specials, pre orders, bulk orders, and sales.
When will my order be shipped?
You order will be shipped in 2-3 business days from order placement. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your order. It will take longer if products are on back order or if you prepaid for a product being made. If you need your order sooner, please email at orders@naturespuree.com for an alternative shipment option.
Will you ship to international locations?
Currently, we only ship within the United States.
My order was damaged in shipping. What should I do?
Contact us with in 48 hours via email with description of what happened to the product. We will discuss arrangements for return and exchange if they apply.
How do I file a claim if my order arrives damaged?
If your package is visibly damaged or the product(s) inside are visibly damaged contact us within 48 hours via email. Please keep all parts of the package including the box intact for possible claim filing.
What is your return policy?

Please contact us via email for possible returns before you ship products. We do not accept returns if a customer doesn’t like the scent of the product they ordered, this includes our Nude line which has a mild natural scent from the natural ingredients used. If we made a mistake on the product shipped to you, the cost for shipping the product back to you is our cost. If you are returning products for other reasons, or returning customized and gift wrapped products, shipment cost will be at your cost.

Do you sell your products wholesale to other stores?

Please contact us via email at admin@naturespuree.com for more information on wholesale. We will offer our products at wholesale quantities and price to selected and qualified businesses. Please include in your email legal business name, state of registered business, sales tax license or resale number, contact person’s name and title, phone number and email address. We thank you for possible future business.
Can our non-profit group use your products as a fundraiser?
Yes, we would love to have our products be part of your fundraiser. Please contact us via email at admin@naturespuree.com. We can discuss what product works best for your fundraiser.
Do you do guest favors?
Yes, our products make great favors for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and party favors. We will discuss your events and customize favors that are best for your event. All orders are considered custom orders and price is based on the different components of the product. Please allow 4-6 weeks for making. Additional cost may apply for short notice orders. We require 50% down and 50% upon delivery or shipment of product.
Do you offer any other products?
Nature’s Purée is continuously expanding. Developing new products takes time as it includes research and development. As we add new products we will update our website. If you have an account with us we will send updates via email.
